1. Provider

2. Closed circuits only
MotoLap is intended exclusively for use on closed circuits – race tracks, motocross tracks and training grounds that are closed to public traffic and that you ride with the operator’s permission.
- Use on public roads is not permitted. Never ride against the clock there.
- Follow the track operator’s rules and the law, and wear the required protective gear.
- Do not operate the app while riding. Glance at your watch only where it is safe.
Before the app records a real GPS ride, you explicitly confirm this restriction (“Understood – closed circuits only”). The app stores on your device which version of the notice you confirmed and when. If the notice changes materially, the app asks again. Demo rides without GPS work without confirmation.
3. No official timing
MotoLap estimates lap times from GPS (typically ± 0.3 s). The times are not official or certified timing and are not valid as proof in competitions.
4. Rider account, leaderboards and community
Online name, profile and cover images and leaderboard entries must not contain offensive, abusive or unlawful content; times must not be manipulated. Other riders can report content and block you. Violations lead to removal of the content and suspension of the account.
5. “Pro” subscription
Purchase, renewal and cancellation are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their terms.
6. Liability
We accept no responsibility for accidents or damage resulting from use contrary to section 2, in particular on public roads. This does not affect our liability for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, or under the German Product Liability Act.
